Star Cellar Door
To start with, it was the captivating appearance of the entrance to the cellar door, even the building itself, that attracted attention. Factor in Jeremy Gordon’s reputation as a supremely talented winemaker and the crowds streamed in. They noticed the stunning views of the Wilyabrup Valley and found the cellar door experience to be excellent. Nothing stands still in the world of Amelia Park when it’s on a roll and the restaurant has opened to wide acclaim.
Blair and Renee Allen are consumate professionals with Blair’s produce-based menu proving understandably popular and already among the region’s finest places to dine. Jeremy Gordon made his reputation in Margaret River winning the Jimmy Watson Trophy in his second vintage here. It has been with reds that he has continued to make his greatest impact with impeccably oaked full-bodied reds such as the 2013 Reserve Cabernet and budget-priced quaffers such as the lightly oaked Trellis Cabernet Merlot.
