In 2020, the Campbell family celebrated 150 years of winemaking on their historic site. Fifth-generation sisters Jane and Julie Campbell, managing director and winemaker respectively, now lead this iconic and innovative winery. It’s hard to single out the stars. Durif and shiraz take centre stage for the reds, with a strong supporting cast of tempranillo and malbec. In a region dominated by richness, the winery has developed a reputation for crisp, white wines led by its award-winning riesling. Tastings are held in the cellar surrounded by barrels more than a century old. For something special, book a private tasting in the Bobbie Burns Room, named for the gold mining trail adjacent to the original vineyards.
