Cupitt’s Estate
Star Cellar Door
Sitting just outside of fishing village-turned holiday town Ulladulla, Cupitt’s isn’t just a cellar door, it’s a destination, with a restaurant, accommodation, brewery, fromagerie and easily the best regional wines. Head winemaker Wally Cupitt has smartly chosen to look beyond the region for quality fruit, drawing on diversity such as Hilltops nebbiolo, Heathcote viognier and Canberra pinot noir. You don’t just visit the cellar door here, you settle in for lunch and enjoy the whole gamut of wine, beer, cheese (and more). Keep in mind it can be notably busy on holiday weekends, especially around the famed Sunday Sessions. ANDREW GRAHAM
