Cellar By Gilbert.

With six generations of winemaking in Australia, the Gilbert family opened The Cellar by Gilbert in 2016. Located on the edge of town, the stunning sandstone building foregoes the traditional cellar door model, instead offering guests the chance to enjoy award-winning wines and share plates made from locally sourced and homegrown produce in a relaxed, wine bar-like environment.

Winemakers and owners Simon and Will Gilbert are often found splashing wine into glasses if there aren’t any grapes to crush, ferments to check or wines to bottle.

Open: Sun-Thu 10am-4pm, Fri-Sat 10am-5pm

Huntington Estate

Enjoy Mudgee’s most acclaimed red wines at Huntington Estate‘s elegant new Cellar Door, then stay for a relaxed and delicious lunch in the beautiful gardens and grounds while sampling our craft beer and cider.

Established in 1969, Huntington Estate’s fine wines are estate grown, made and bottled. Our famous red wines are released at four to five years of age and are built to last; we believe time is the true test of a wine, so we don’t rush the grapes on the vine or in the winery. Patience is rewarded.
