The Statham family embrace an alternative lifestyle with an astonishing commitment to organics and bio- diversity. Rosnay is part of the Rivers Road Organic Farms, a unique cooperative farming concept.
Sheep graze in the Rosnay vineyards and fertilise the olive grove planted with Kalamata for table olives and tapenade and Corregiola for cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil. Fresh and dried figs add another spoke to this holistic wheel as does a farm stay option. Sam Statham has taken winemaking to heart with a natural feel and instinctive eye for quality and, of course, a ceramic egg sits in the corner of the winery cum olive and fig processing shed. Artistic works from Sam’s mother, brother and children adorn the labels.
