Fourth generation Christina Tulloch presides over this smart cellar door that seamlessly marries history with modernity. Watching with pride on the sidelines are Julia and Jay Tulloch who were instrumental in reclaiming J.Y. Tulloch & Sons and continuing the viticulture and winemaking tradition that John Younie Tulloch began in 1895.

The physical layout works well and even at the busiest times there’s a sense that each visitor is important with welcoming staff and tailor-made tastings. The 1895 Wine Club gives its members access to the 1895 Member Lounge, a discount on all wine purchases and first dibs on scarce top-end wines.
