The Statham family has an astonishing commitment to organics and biodynamics. Rosnay is part of the Rivers Road Organic Farms, a unique cooperative farming concept. Sheep graze in the Rosnay vineyards and fertilise the olive grove which produces table olives, tapenade and extra virgin olive oil. Fresh and dried figs add another spoke to this holistic wheel as does the Rosnay farmstay option.
Second generation, Sam Statham now makes the Rosnay wines on-site in his ever evolving straw-bale winery. He has a natural feel and instinctive eye for quality. Artistic labels painted by Sam’s mother, brother and children adorn the Rosnay bottles with the rustic cellar door expanding organically with an integrated art gallery. PETER BOURNE
