A quiet achiever on the Orange scene, Ross Hill Wines keeps adding polish to their vinous act. The original Griffin Road vineyard dates back to 1994 but it wasn’t until 2008 that the Wallace Lane property was planted with vines – it was originally a cherry orchard. 2014 GT WINE Winemaker of the Year finalists Phil and Rochelle Kerney, departed recently after 10 years of highly professional winemaking. James Robson (son of founders, Terri and Peter) and his wife Chrissy now run the show with their cellar door as smart as the Ross Hill wines.
There’s a three tier tasting system with a traditional offering of the Ross Hill range, the 1994 Wine Club members upgrade complete with tasty titbits and regular Saturday lunches with paired wines in the Barrel & Larder School of Wine and Food.
