South Burnett is very much an emerging wine region. As an area that does not receive a great deal of traffic, Taste South Burnett operates as a de facto communal cellar door, allowing the wineries to concentrate on production, though many do have their own cellar door facilities.
Located in central Kingaroy, Taste South Burnett provides visitors with the opportunity to gain a much greater insight into the region than time would usually permit. As well as offering more than 50 local wines, from wineries such as Kingsley Grove Estate, Barambah Wines, Bellbird Wines, Booie Range Liqueurs and Tipperary Estate, they now offer wines under their own label.
