The wine list at Est. has long been known for wines from celebrated, prestige producers from benchmark wine regions. Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne are staples. Set alongside are Australia’s leading lights, including top wines from Crawford River, Grosset, Clonakilla, Dalwhinnie, Henschke and Penfolds.
While the list still retains all of its charm in great wines of the world, there seems to have been a dedicated shift to encompass an even broader spectrum with an evolving selection of wines from cult producers of regions like Jura and Savoie. Adding interest are small-scale grower-producers from Australia’s burgeoning natural-wine scene, bolstered by examples from France and Italy’s established minimalist winemakers.
This wine list delivers on so many levels. There’s excellent vintages of the top wines from leading regions, cellared rarities and leading lights from NSW’s wine community with a global perspective on where the culture of fine wine is today. It’s a superb, decadently lengthy list of class and distinction.
